New Christmas children’s book story bound to become a classic

Charles S. Lessard, the author of An Astounding Bear’s Journey, has penned a new Christmas children’s story, A Piffleduck Christmas. The 26-page full-color paperback book, published by Seacoast Press (a division of Mindstir Media LLC), is replete with vibrant illustrations by illustrator Jason Hutton.

The story centers on a little girl named Jeanine who writes a heartfelt letter to Santa Claus seeking a one-of-a-kind toy. Santa and his trusted elf, Benevolent Ben, answer her plea with a forgotten item utilized as a door stop. Jeanine’s love is immediate as she unites with the Piffleduck on Christmas morning.

Bestselling author J.J. Hebert praised the book: “A delightfully unique Christmas tale … Charles’ imagination is second to none and he’s created a book here that should resonate with children and adults alike at Christmas time. I can see this becoming a classic.”

A Piffleduck Christmas may be purchased at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and other fine retailers worldwide. The paperback retails for $13.99. Wholesale orders can be placed through Ingram.
